Email is critical to Discourse. But a user had issues receiving the confirmation email on gmail. Are any other users having problems receiving email from the forum? Private messages are the most critical thing if email is broken. The forum also supports a Discord like summary of topics, name mentions, etc. I have that set to one email per week at max be default. But users can customize that in settings. Anyhow reply here if email is working or broken.
